Hi there,
late start for this weeks CotW! Recently recieved this one:

Its a Roco US-Army flat car with buffers and NEM-couplers, made in the 70s for the European markets. The bottom shows Roco and AHM inscriptions.

Nice Flatcar!!!
Looks like the ones I trained on in Ft. Eustis VA. Those bumpers/buffers are the same, too. We had to nail and block the cargo on these. Nice to see them, again.

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Nice piece, Martin.
The Athearn heavy duty flat is hands down my favorite Athearn car...

Hello All I'm sending this CoTW photo basically because it is strange to me....the car has an Athearn underframe, trucks and clips etc....but, if you look closely above the left truck in the photo, on the side of the body, there's a round rubber gromet with a key shaft sticking out of it...it has a very small square head, made of brass.......I have NO CLUE what this does or what it operates...no key came with it..the car came used from ebay , and had brass link and pin couplers, which I've changed....the hatches do not open (at least by hand)...any clues????
Thanx

Hi Ken,
never seen that, super-detailed caboose on Hornby-Dublo track! But, both are nice...
