| Looks like the die-cast (early) version of the MDC (Roundhouse) SP 0-6-0 to me. Look at the builder's plate on the boiler side closely - they're marked MDC in a half-circle there.

Hey,
I got the locomotive some time back...

It's initialed TWIRP... I think it's an abbreviation of family names... "TP"
It's a smooth puller... yeah, and heavy!
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

| That I know of Aristo never made one of these. I have at least one of each of the die-cast MDC 0-6-0s downstairs to compare with, but again the raised round "builders plate" on the boiler side about even with the stack will say "MDC" right on it to confirm it.

Is it painted on?
I scraped the three builder's plates... I didn't find MDC on either of them.
