After two years, I am finally getting around to developing my own honest-to-goodness, all-purpose website. I have been working on the backend of it for the past week or so and there is still much to be done before I go "live".

It won't be exclusively trains, although the STC and Tyco will have a large presence. I also hope to showcase some of my other models and creative works, set up a store to sell certain items, and consolidate my blogs, journal entries, and creative photgraphy from other sites over the years. I know most of you won't care for that stuff but it's important to note, because...

...I once again may be forced to rework how I store my photos, which are all over this place. I am looking to streamline the backend so I can integrate them into my own site. There are a couple options I am looking at, but I don't know which will ultimately work the best. I may be able to build my site and leave the existing structure alone... then again I may not. I am looking at a full-blown photo gallery module that may encourage me to rework my entire storage concepts. As well as change access permissions.

If my pics disappear over the coming days and weeks, this is the reason. I can't promise they will be put back but I would like to keep them available here. If I can't do that, I won't be making promises as to when / if I would get around to fixing them.

So if there is anything you want to save or print or whatever, I suggest you do it now while they're still up.

One of the longer term goals of the new site is to get THIS:

Fleshed out and viable. There is much more to write. But this isn't the place for it anymore.

Thanks,

-Tony L.

I'll take a dozen MP3-tracks.

Seriously though, this looks like it's gonna be great. Lookin' forward to it!
