Hey, just found this neat sight, probably ran across it before but didn't join, now I have. I've got plenty of Tyco rolling stock, as well as Athearn, Bachmann, some Cox, Marx, and Lionel HO as well.

As would be expected from an AMC Gremlin owner ( of 8 full-sized models ), I tend to love the unusual. Listed below in order of importance are some of my HO scale "hotties" -

- EMD BL-2 by Athearn
- Tyco bi-level with 68 Camaros and '68 AMXs ( AMC, natch...)
- Trolleys of any kind
- Athearn Hustler ( got 4-5, or maybe more? I have stuff EVERYWHERE..)
- Tyco Turbo Train ( rail versions, just bought a track version off Ebay....)

Future projects include building up some unusual consists, some already started, others just in planning. Some already in progress are :

- AMC Tri-level autoloaders with Gremlins, Pacers, etc. (Fresh Cherries)
- Monopoly train ( have four cars, no engine )
- Purina / pet train ( have about 9 cars with Purina on them, box, gondola)
- Helium cars ( AHM, need to convert more to Kadee undercarriage )
- Flying train ( have 8 helicopter and airplane flatcars )

Some not started but intend to are :

- Swiss or Alaskan drive-on flat car automobile train for tourists/travelers
- DCC Tyco Turbo train
- automobile NASCAR / race car half-boxcar / half flat car types
- Box cab MDC and excursion car set, need to DCC Box cab
- mini "egg" type doodlebug built off passenger car w/powered truck

Got quite a full agenda, considering I'm a packrat, switch projects without finishing them, etc. Oh well, I get tired of working on things and leave off awhile...sometimes a LONG while. But I've got some projects enroute to completion eventually.

Personal stuff : Married, 48 years old, 3 cats, 7 mice (wild), hot tub, 20+ old cars from '57 Chevy 4-door to '78 Gremlin GT, love chocolate, trains, etc. Hope to pick some brains here soon, I need some help with Athearn parts for Hustlers. :) All for this post,

Jerry

Hey Jerry. Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you have some cool projects going. Make sure you post pictures of some of this stuff (the cars as well!).

Welcome----so where is th AMX? I always liked going fast and still do. Glad to see the younger generation has a liking for real metal cars. Camaros (1969) are hot. Terry

You like wierd cars too eh? AMC was the best! I still want to get my hands on a banana-yellow Pacer sometime. As for your autoracks, you're in good company:

A little low-res to be clear but you should be interested in that first rack in the consist. I have 3 more racks slated to resume construction soon. And enough cars to fill 3 more, plus dedicate one to Pacers and another to Gremlins. All for a layout barely big enough to run them on. Yessir, I am an idiot. But it's all in good fun.
