Hi train folks,
Been browsing this forum for several months. Decided to join in.
My brother and I have been playing with HO trains for many years.
We don't have a layout, yet. Have been spending our time custom painting and detailing locomotives and rolling stock. We some Tyco stuff and I'm glad to see there are forum topics for other manufacturers.

As soon as I figure out how, I'll post a photo of a recent loco project.

Shaygetz--my dad is from Alarka and we have land up there with a creek that cuts through my dads property. Don't know how long ago since you have been--but it is growing--use to be fairly quiet-not now. When i was a kid--you might pass 2 cars coming off or going up the road to Alarka--now you can pass as many as 30 cars and as you know there is only one way in and out.. It is 4hrs from my house and Apex is about 2. Alarka is right outside of Bryson City NC-Home of the Great Smokey Mtns RR
