Lots of color! A Tyco Bicentennial F-unit emerges from the tunnel with a Tyco Chessie trailing. Local animals don't seem impressed. On a nearby track is a British Railways Inter-City train....Is this England with American visitors, or is this a British invasion of America??

I almost bought a PA in Delaware and Hudson paint once, although it didn't look quite that shiny!

My latest find - found in a LHS after soooooo many failures on the bay:

(Yes, I have to set-up photos on my tinplate layout for now - a combined OO/HO layout is in the works though)

Here's my Mantua Classics 0-6-0 looking like it's doing 60mph:

The "pan shot" effect was completely by accident--my hand slipped when I snapped the pic in just the right way to follow the engine.

Wow, that's incredible for a mistake. You even got her with the rods down!
It reminds me of this guy's panning shots. And I always thought it required a lot of work.

Here's mine for this week, a Cox F-3 in U.S. Army livery.

The shell has some nice little details that help it stand out from the general F-unit crowd.
Like these grilles on top...

...or the hinges on the portholes.

I had fixed this loco for my history teacher, but when I mentioned it was a poor performer, he said I could just take it.
I really like it, so I took it home, hooked it up to a string of freight cars...and it reminded me of just how poorly it runs.
Looks like I'll be rebuilding it again, hopefully an improvement will be made.

The vents on the roof are for the dynamic brakes. Subsequent E/F units (4+) saw the introduction of the ubiquitous fan.

It was a lot of work the rest of the evening trying to duplicate it scientifically but no luck. A model engine is just too small to keep a good target on. Oh well, good excuse to go train watching!

Here is mine, Vintage Marklin V200 diesel, prototype built by Krauss Maffei, twin Maybach V12 diesel engines. Several are preserved in Germany and still run on occasion.
Still NT's, I have Aspergers.
