guys bought a lot of athearn f7a/bs and came across this frame no makers mark? and its all plastic any ideas ken

Hi Ken. That is a Globe F unit chassis. They made trains in the early 1950s. Athearn Purchased them and Globe F7s are the bases of the Athearn Line of F7s. You can find more info on earlier posts here and on Tony Cook's site and HO Seeker site. Carl

hi carl it came with a f7a body in a f7 yellow box is this a crossover,answered my own question thanks to your reply cheers ken
