I'm going on Saturday and intend to be one of the early birds as I usually am. I'm wondering who else is going to be there as buyers or sellers. Gareth? are you going? Do you need me to pick up an advance ticket for you? Let me know.

Hey Todd:

I'd love to go but no. Chris the pal I was gonna drive down with, and I are too "skint" at the moment. Finger in too many pies my mom would say. We should make it to the "thaw" though....

I have deposits on a couple of things and I have to pay Dan at yardbirdtrains for stuff to go to Ray to finish a Varnney for me!

I want to go to the show with like a minimum $500 in my pocket which I'll let Chris or you hang on to of course!!!

-Gareth
PS: hope you're car starts at the show!

I found this show to have more Tyco than the past year's shows, although I am looking for mostly train cars, not engines, so maybe the Tyco engines weren't more plentiful. I must have gotten a dozen cars at good prices, including a few very good finds.

They included:
A three car bicentennial set (along with a Santa Fe box car) for $6
A Sohio tanker for $0.50 (It was dirty, no box, and no trucks - but it cleaned up nice )
A B&O caboose in the original box for $3
A Santa Fe trailer car for $7 (This is the rare type with the logo over the "Fe")
A Hires box car for $3
