I don't know what to say, this is very hard. A few here are aware that my youngest son Khrystian has had heart ailments since birth. I've been blessed for the 8 years he enriched my life. I learned lessons from my little man, he was a real trooper.
Khrystian passed away somewhat unexpectly 5:17 yesterday afternoon. I can't write anymore at the moment. Pray for strength and courage.
I LOVE YOU SON

Dear Todd:
I simply don't know what to say. I of course remember him well from my visit a while back.
He was such a bright eyed little fella! I had no idea at the time and until recently during a chat with you about his heart issues. I had hoped during my visit around First Frost, to see if my brother who's a researcher in this area of medicine could provide some extra insight.
You and Dawn must be devastated and rightly so. When the you know the time is right, not when others says it's been long enough, let me know, I have an extraordinary handbook on dealing with grief.
A wise man said that only in War should a child preceed a parent into whatever awaits us. I am profoundly sorry at Khrystian's passing and the horrible time you and Dawn now find yourselves in.
Peace my friend, for you, Dawn and your older children.

Friend Todd and Family, I was deeply saddened by this news. I'm sure he was a trooper and much more. I knew my wife would burst into tears after hearing this and she did. Allow me to extend our deepest sympathy to you all. Keeping you in prayer, The Benners.

I want to thank you all, it's comforting to know others care. I'll get back into the fray eventually, I just wanted to stop in and say thanks.
If you haven't told your love ones how much they mean to you today, go do it.

There is information posted about the arrangements for Khrystian at the funeral homes website. I'm not expecting anyone from the forums to make it, and we truly understand. There is however a guest book at the site which has just been put up and your prayers and thoughts can be posted there.
Guestbook Here
There is also something special being arranged that everyone can participate in at Noon EST on Wednesday September 24th. So synchronize your clocks and release a red or pink or both colors balloon into the sky at the time. The more the merrier.
My son has had an amazing impact on the lives of so many people and although we've realized this we never knew the extent. Although this forum was never a place Khrystian was known well or participated in you're all welcome to participate.

Dear TCF Memebers:
This is to let every one of our members know that in light of the tragic, shattering loss Todd our friend, and list owner and his family have just suffered, to wit; the death of his son, Khrystian, that in our collective name, I am arranging for my oldest friend Father Bill Swift to Celebrate a Requiem Mass (Missa Pro Defunctis-Mass for the Departed) for the soul of young Khrystian and the intentions of his family.
There is virtually nothing human on earth in light of an event that cries out to heaven for understanding, that can truly console Todd, Dawn and family. This is the closest thing of which I can concieve.

My thoughts, condolences, and prayers are with you and your family. The death of my wife four weeks ago at 52 I thought was too early in life. Khrystian was definitely to soon and much more tragic. I know this does'nt help, but there is a plan for all of us while we live and your son accomplished his very early on in his life.
Take Care Larry

Update on the Mass for Khrystian and his family...
The Requim Mass for Khrystian will be celebrated at Holy Cross Church here in Toronto at 7pm on Sunday November the 16th. I will be attending to represent Khrystian and his family.
Please if you can put that on your respective calenders. This Mass will be offered collectively on behalf of all Members of the Tyco Collector's Forum. When I see Fr. Bill in the next couple of days I will get a "Mass Intentions card" from him to mail to Todd and his family on our behalfs.
In the meantime I hope everyone remembered to tell someone in our families or circles of friends that you love them. None of us is guaranteed a moment on this earth!
Pax, Gareth

Khrystians Requiem Mass.
Fella's, just a reminder that Khrystian's Requiem Mass will be tomorrow evening at 7pm at Holy Cross Church In Toronto.
I sent last Monday a card to Todd and his family on our behalfs announcing the Requiem Mass and signed if from the Tyco Collector's Forum members united with them.
Please tomorrow night at about 7pm I would ask you in a corporal act of mercy and charity to unite yourself in this rite of sacrafice to raise up Khrystian in our humble way and in light of the so very recent events in our friend Brian's family also remember the boy lost to them.

The Mass has just ended here. It was lovely and haunting. I have not been to a service in years, but I thought this was worth the effort.
I had the good fortue to meet Khrystian a couple of years ago when visiting Todd, and hearing his name as the focus of the Mass and repeated in the prayers of the faithful was very solemn.
Sad in a very good way.
Peace to his soul then and may perpetual light shine down upon him and Josh (I hope I got that correct Brian?)
