I just purchased this Pemco Alco 430. I seem to be on an Alco kick lately...

| Mike--I have the same loco. Is yours new?? Dead knock off of Tyco 430 but there are some differences in shell.

If you hold an Pemco 430 next to an Mehano 430 I think you'll notice they were probably developed from the same mold. The Mehano cab and hood are identical although the Pemco has seperate hand rails.
The Mehano cab and hood are seperate from the sils and steps, the Pemco is not. The drives are very different.
Mike's tank looks different from my Pemco 430.
