Interesting train! But WAAAAY to much for me! Six bill reserve? To me that means $600. No way this "collector" will invest that much.

The guy is dreaming. About 10 days ago 2 complete sets listed together only went for $108. They both had the original boxes and were in nice shape.

Its not really that rare at all, every Train meet I have been to I usually see 1 or 2. Besides if you wanna get a nice one Bowser still makes them... and Hobbytown was working on a drive for them before he closed the doors(Im sure you could make a nice drive with Hobbytown parts). That guy can keep dreaming, oh how much I love to see guys waisting there money listing stuff on eBay so it doesn't sell. Oh well watching items like that to see if there is some idiot out there willing to pay for it is good entertainment for me.

do you suppose that he said the reserve is 600 when it is lower, hoping someone would bid 400 or something and end up having to buy it?

I get to the seller's other sold items... none.
I catch the time duration left for bids... 1 day, 1 hour, 1 minute.

well, if you also want hornhooks ... last bid was $66

John

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out.
"I love your catenary!"
Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
