I've had that Southern Crescent Pacific since I was 16, but it's been remotored. Those Pacifics have a design flaw -- a plastic motor mount that melts if the motor gets too hot. I was really disappointed when that happened.

It looks great in the Blue Comet scheme.

That motor mount melting is a very common thing that occurs. The mount on mine was melted also. I had a cheep economy pacific that I striped the frame from.

hello guys

you wouldn't still have parts for these

i need the underplate that covers the gear 2 screws that hold the motor in place and whatever is between the motor and gearbox that acts like a driving shaft...

and the long screw that holds the boiler in place on the frame

would be forever thankfull....
