Not exactly a "model", but still cool. I got this for Christmas a few years back, and had a lot of fun building it.

Looking at prices on the internet, I'm shocked at how much this will cost ya brand new. I remember seeing it in the Sears catalogue for like $50, and I'm finding numbers as high as $500!!!

Anywho.

The valve gear turns when you push it along, and it has opening doors, air vents, and firebox. It's nearly 2 feet long, about 5 inches wide and 8 inches tall.

Unfortunately, once it's built, it's only really good for gathering dust.

It's easy to tell it was designed to represent a Royal Hudson, but it makes no mention of it on the box.

Also, to make it that much more like a Royal Hudson, I moved the bell and whistle around.

Why? Because I can.
