Hi Shaygetz,
Nice find you got there! Was the rest of the set in the box?
My car for this week is a Roundhouse 50' box. It is decorated for the 2000 National Model & Hobby Show in Rosemont, IL. I was at that show I believe and do not remember seeing these cars. The end of the box is stamped SAMPLE. If anyone has any info. on how these cars where used at the show that would be interesting to know.
This one was given to me today by the Great One. She found it at a flea market. I don't know how she does it LOL!
Thanks Mike

The battered boxcar was in there but that was it. It's in good enough shape that I'll repair the boo boos, put Kadees on it and weather it like it was a real car.

Eventually I will try and hunt down some of these sets. I've got 5 full sets and bits and pieces from others. I keep seeing boxed sets at train shows and on ebay, but for some reason, they're all priced at $200. Like WOW...you have a 10 year old train set. BIG BUCKS THERE...haha...prolly the same ppl that try and sell Tyco engines for $75 O_o
You can call me that. Much better than Birdman or Eric Da Fish (no idea how I got either of those :S )
