A PRR Bowser N5c. I added glazing to the CR version before I built it.

DRGW boxcar, I think it was $4. It has sprung trucks, and I put an old electric motor core inside to add a bit of interest. Yet again, this was a practice car for my weathering skills. Not too bad I guess...

As for the manufacturer, there's a small stamp on the bottom that says "A-OK, Made In Hong Kong"...

Here's a Tyco CP Rail boxcar I picked up on the weekend. It's like my other one, only glossier...not sure which one's more common.

I`ll throw in my two cents on some vintage Chessie System Life-Like items here. Both show diffrent packaging.
I am more partial to the one on the blister card. I`ve always liked that kind of packing because you can see what you`re buying.

That's a Crown 40' Box Car. Crown was a division of Mantua. Here's more info...

The A-OK Hong Kong is found on some AHM offerings of the '70s. Though the Crown group is listed as a division of Mantua Metal Products, the tooling for these cars looks to be what ends up in Bachmann's original HO-scale line of 1970.
