Hello All--My wife and I took a short weekend trip from Gainesville, Texas to Oklahoma City, where we had a night out while the kids spent some time with the Grandparents. Here are a few photos of the train-related portion of the get-away. Pics include the Gainesville station, OKC art deco-style station, Superliner interior (plenty of seats available!), and an inexplicable pic of me riding a patriotic bison while the train idles behind and above me. The 'Heartland Flyer' traverses the same Santa Fe line as the old 'Texas Chief.'

Dude!?...and you didn't like, lose a bet or anything?...you just got up there and allowed a pic to be taken?...and then you posted it? Whoa!
Looks like you both had fun. I can fully relate to running away for a little bit when the grandparents are available
