I was looking to make a functioning headlight for my BR Class 47. It's a single light, slightly off-centered, encased in a sort of box. What I ended up doing is drilling out the dummy light, a hole in the frame, and running bulbs from the inside of loco. For the casing, I used Athearn worm-gear bearings (square outside, round inside). The opening fit my bulbs perfectly. I super-glued these on to the body after shaving off the dummy lights.

Hey Adams,

That's a great Idea. Nice loco too.
