Hello,
First-timer here! I'm looking for information on the Tyco Chattanooga Choo Choo. What year was it introduced, where can I get a catalog from that year, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

Hello

TYCO introduces its long running Chattanooga line in the 1975-76 catalog. In some form or another there were Chattanooga train sets available most years through the end of the HO-scale TYCO line in 1993.

Catalogs from the mid 1970s are generally available on eBay.com and I see them sell for a few dollars a piece.

There were a variety of Chattanooga steam engines produced by TYCO over the years. Most all turn up on eBay with great frequency and do not go for much money. Additionally, TYCO also offered a GP-20 dressed for Chattanooga. It too appears at swap meets and on eBay and is a common item.

For additional info on the Chattanooga line from TYCO see my page on Fantasy Railroads...

Thanks
