I can say i have had great service from 2 american/canadian companies
1st Athearn, who i asked for help with screw sizes for the new style chassis, and received not only an answe but the screws in question
2nd rapido, whos ceo emailed me in answer to a question, and sent me within 2 days from canada to uk offending item replacement along with batteries
Both companies have restored my faith in the modelling arena,10 out of 10 for both ken

Ken-- I also am impressed Athearn's customer service. I purchsed a CSX SD70M Spirit of Tampa that had high centered center wheels. It de-railed in curves right out of box. Sat loco on a flat surface and only the center wheels were touching. After emailing and getting response quickly-they informed me that there had been a lot of various road names released with that defect. I shipped loco to Athearn in Compton CA and one month later recieved it back in perfect conditon. They even replaced the handrails which nothing were wrong with originals and a ditch light that had burned out that i did not note to them. I also recieved a printed computer sheet of repair and diagnostic
