| That looks like a nice one. Now you're in the same situation I am, you need a Southern Green pilot on that. Maybe Mantua released it with black also, but I don't think so, I think that's a replacement on there.

| I forgot to ask. Do you have other metal mantua steam engines? The pacifics and mikados are great pullers. What's also nice is that it seems just about everything from the 0-4-0 to the 2-8-2 use the same pitman motor. When you see a mantua that doesn't run, buy it, they're easy to fix.

hi new york central,i have a couple on the way and the matchbox southern which is a mantua casting updated by matchbox,only started on american locos a couple of months ago as i am a hornby dublo man a heart,please see attached photo of another cresent i missed,you say pilot what is that ken

Some call it a Pilot, you might know it as the cowcatcher? It's the apparatus at the very front of the engine that clears livestock off the track as the train speeds through the countryside.
