Actually, Ken, it is a plastic flat car, old blue-box and red-box range in RTR (except, of course, minus the funky UK buffers and Trix Train couplers on your example!) Appears, also to be missing standard brown plastic side rails, a pretty typical absence.

Ken: See what you mean. Oh, well; we all make mistakes. I mis-identified the couplers in my first pass. They are dublo, not TTR. At least the seller got that right (but that's about it.) MagAc

Hi Ken. What MA was saying was that the flatcar was plastic top with metal underframe. The Early 1950s Mantua / Tyco flatcar were completely diecast catalog # T308. They came in bare metal or blackened metal. The mid to late 1950s the flatcars were plastic with metal underframe catalog #314. US Navy being 314B. Here is a picture of the T308.
