I'm just getting back into the hobby after a....well.... 23 year absence.

My mom worked at Kmart when I was a kid, she always bought the Tyco display trains after Xmas, so I had alot of stuff.

Now I have devoted half my basement to building the layout a kid could only dream of, and you guessed it I'm building it ol skool. The only thing digital going on my bench work is a clock to remind me to talk to the wife every few hours![;)]

Funny how a smell from your childhood makes you build stuff in your basement.

Welcome Aboard Rock Crusher!

Like the Illinois Central C430! I'm a big GM&O-IC-ICG fan myself. Grew up on the GM&O's St. Louis to Kansas City line.

Tony
