Just picked this up on ebay, I had one like it when I was a kid in the early 80's, item description says it's from 1990, I could not find it in the 1989 or 1991 catalog on the Tycotrain info page, what is the name of this set? I just wanted a train to put around my x-mas tre this year and I have a soft spot for this train since it is a lot like the one I had when I was a kid, any info on this set would be appreciated, thanks. Here's the link to the set: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150050902212&rd=1&rd=1

Hey,
Looking over the contents and their packages, I would say your set actually dates back to the early 1980s.
From TYCO's 1981 Catalog, take a look at The Burlington Northern (No.7312)...
I'd say that's the set you've got...with a few additions in rolling stock. [}:)]
