Here's a long overdue page for The TYCO Resource...

Still tinkering and fine-tuning it, but take a look at TYCO AUTOS...

Enjoy

Hot dog! Another great, unheralded offering from TYCO. Those AMXs and Camaros still look sharp today, especially once you detail 'em up.

Yes, Tyco gave us the only AMC I'm aware of in HO scale... too bad they didn't do a Gremlin or Pacer... [:D]

Of course, that must be their shortest product line: AMX and Camaro, and the generic "Chrysler K-car coupe" (ever seen a 2-door Dodge Aries?) that replaced them both. Add in the "Dodge" and "Kenworth" tractor cabs, and you have a total of 5 automotive offerings.

I suppose you could go with all the tanks and helicopters, and the A-Team van, etc... but then where would it all end?!

Dodge Aries 2-door (rarely seen then, let alone now):

Tyco "GA":

Pretty good resemblence there, no?

(DID YOU KNOW: The original 1981 Aries was available with an honest-to-god HEMI? [:D] )

Well done, Tony...

I was quite pleased when this rack and six cars came tumbling out of a junk box that was given to me over the summer...

Hey, doesn't that "TT" on the "car" car look suspiciously like the Turbo Train Logo?

D.J. (Yeah, I'm "that kid"... Deal.)

I have one of those stored with my other stuff, I always liked it! I thought it would look cooler if I could paint it yellow and put some TTX decals on it somehow. Sorta do a makeshift version of the larger autoracks. But I decided to leave it its fine just how it sits. Though if I got another for cheap...yea then I'd go for it just to see how it looked!
