That GM&O Box Car might even wander back to pre-Red Box Era TYCO-Mantua.
I do think it was available during the '60s and I'd guess that is from where this example comes based on the trucks/couplers.
Here's what I have over the Red Box Era TYCO Resource...
T311B -Gulf, Mobile & Ohio (NEW-1960;1961;1962-63;1963-64)
I do think the GM&O is also possibly found in the pre-Red Box Era mid-'50s catalog too.

This GMO box dates back to the blue-box era in RTR and exists in a rare yellow initial offering in some Little Trains sets '55-6. When Mantua announced it was offering car kits fitted for either the Mantua loop coupler (very popular thru the fifties) or the new talgo truck with NMRA coupler, the "new" GMO in Tuscan brown was offered as an "either/or." It survived into the early red-box years but is rather uncommon. The yellow GMO is just plain scarce. MagAc
