I don't think Tyco ever provided an exploded view of their PowerPorks, just the generic instruction sheet they included with every loco.

I hear you AF-- Exploding view obtained by running in forward at full throttle--then slamming in reverse and repeating until exploded view achieved. Seriously--as Romcat stated--Tyco did not include exploded diagrams with locomotives. Would be something for someone to come up with for the site/forum. There has to be software that i am not aware of that can take an object and explode it into 3d with all of todays technology.

You are correct, a virtual exploded view!

Since all Tyco's diesel locos were comprised of one-piece shells (no small accomplishment when you think about it), an exploded view of the loco was unnecessary, and would have only comprised the motor itself. I believe the only such views are from the early kits, up through the MU-2. The PT in its various revisions was never a kit motor and not readily serviced so no artwork is known, other than the generic "oil here" instruction sheet, which was vague at best.

Hate to admit it, OK, I don't mind, but it makes sense!

If only those Powertorques did explode, that would be cool! [}:)]
...but they just die with a whimper. [xx(]

I've never seen any sheets on any tyco engines. I'm looking for GG1's. Do you know anyone that has any?
