Hi Folks, I was just wondering how you guys keep track of the items you have? I have been SLOWLY hand writing an inventory, and taking pictures of locos, and rolling stock. I purchased an inventory program off evilbay a while back, and am starting to log stuff in there.

Hi Choochin3,
I use a program thats free from Software Design called RRTrains 2000. For a free and simple program it lets you do a lot. Being able to link a picture to each item is nice too. For anyone who does not have an inventory program or is not happy with what they have, You can check it out here.

Hey choochin. I keep an inventory of my Tyco engines on paper. I just write down the roadname, model and date I got it. Most of my trains stay lined up on shelves when I'm not running them so it's easy enough for me to see what I have. I may have to find a better way though because I'm starting to get a good collection of passenger cars and Athearn engines.
mytyco: Thanx for the link. I think I'll give it a try.

RRTrains 2000...
It's a great program. You won't be disappointed.
[:D] It has a sample list (boy, one would wish it was your list!) [}:)]

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
