While looking through the box of a Chessie Super 630 I bought at a train meet I found something interesting. The sticker from the box that told of the reversing lights on the end of the loco. The Tyco maintenance paper and a slip to be used for repairs that says "oops". The next item was probably the most fun for me it was the receipt from the store where the engine was purchased. It had the date of purchase, 11/11/79, and the name of the store and address, the town is north of Pittsburgh PA and also where my sister and family now live. The item description was hand written with the price with tax. It was stamped "Hobbies" at the bottom and had these letters PC xT,E D in caps and cursive. I found it in a box under a Lionel dealer's table. The box had the right end cut off cleanly which also removed a small part of the styrofoam liner. The wheels looked unused. I didn't test it until I got home. It ran sort of slugishly but got better after a bit. I don't think it was ever used. I'll post a scan when I get a chance.
