Hey Ken:
Depends. Theres not a lot of the later can motor, 8 wheels around, but I guess it depends on the version. As an Alco buff I'm toying with aquiring one of each of them RRosi/MRC/Lima...
You have a funny one in the UP ver I sent you. They never used them. I got mine to replace a Chi-Com Atlas ver, which I'll likely now sell. I have a D&H and an LV NIB. Also likely gonna move out the NIB Atlas-Trainman RS36.
The Atlas-China's are too modern anyway for me.

That's the loco that Rivarossi acquired and sold for a short time before they closed. Does this differ from the RR version at all?

I don't know how to embed a video onto this place.

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Here's my contribution this week...Pounding across the diamond on my "new" layout (temporary backdrop included!) is my favorite non-Tyco engine, a Stewart, Baldwin AS-616 (as dressed for an SP DRS-6-4-1500, which looks almost identical). This is the smoothest, quietest loco I have. Its 6 axles purvey power, yet its length is that of an average Geep, so it's fine on 18" curves.

This is a Bachmann EMD GP40. It came with the four Mckinley Explorer passenger cars.

I think it looks just as good pulling Tyco.

Nice 33 Ken. I hadn't seen the Heljan model before. Certainly an improvement over the Lima class 33s, of which I am very familiar, having owned O, OO and even HO scale versions before.
Oh, and we've had the Wisconsin Central colours down here as well.

Ken, the 422 is NSWGR (New South Wales Gouvernement Railways), much earlier than Wisconsin Central. There was WC in Oz, but I can´t remember the actual company name.
By the way, is British EWS related to WC?

The name in Australia was ATN Access. ATN = Australian Transport Network. Here's an example...

Tasrail (Tasmania) got the WC treatment too. /tyco/forum/uploaded/B 67/736.jpg
I believe New Zealand railways also had or have some involvement with WC as well. But I wasn't able to find any photos of NZ locos in the WC colors during a quick search.
