Ken,
I have seen that set before, it is legit and came in a set display box. Also, the red '57 Chevy BelAir and blue '57 Ford Thunderbird - classic modern era Matchbox castings themselves - are the correct autos for this set.
It was made by Mantua in the mid-nineties.... and Matchbox was owned by Tyco at the time - hence the cross-promotional connection. [;)]

| That's a nice set Ken, I've been after that one for a while. I like the paint scheme a lot on this set. I believe it you put the flatcar next to the boxcar's lower stripe, the silver striping lines up nice.
