Hello,

here are some recent pictures of my recent short trip to the south of Germany. The town of Kempten is a paradise for diesel freaks.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1172fv4.jpg

Five car train IC "Nebelhorn" was pulled by 218 156.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1176oi4.jpg

Here´s a look to the turntable and the service department

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1177pt7.jpg

Still carrying "Dispolok"-Colours, a ER20 "Hercules" is parked next to the engine house.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1180lv8.jpg

Two Generations of diesel engines, ER20 Arriva/Alex leading late running Alex from Munich and a 218 class

Leaving...

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1185lf2.jpg

The cafeteria coach still carrying the old colours

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1187st3.jpg

Unfortunately, there were no freight trains on a Saturday, so we went back towards Munich. Here is regional express with a former east German 143 131.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1189sj8.jpg

Shortly after that, overnight sleeper train "Hans Christian Andersen" to Copenhagen/Denmark was pulled in.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1191qv5.jpg

One of the couchette cars carried the name "Jan Kiepura"

My favourite coach was the RZD-sleeper to Moscow, never seen that before. In my eyes really exotic....

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1198mu0.jpg

Then the dining car for the hungry guests.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1197qr1.jpg

And the engine, 120 141.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1199tp4.jpg

On the neighboring track, the fastest regional train in Germany.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1201vu0.jpg

And a double heading 218 class, leading the Inter City to Zurich/Switzerland.

/tyco/forum/uploaded/martin67/img1202gu4.jpg

So long,

Martin
