Poll Question:
Choose your screen resolution size below. If you choose other please post what resolution you are running at. Any future modifications to the forums will take the results of this poll into consideration.

It's probably going to work out best at 1024 x 768. I'm hoping everyone's running that high or higher.

I run mine at 1280 x 1024. The alignment and amount of information viewable for me is pretty good. I see some minor issues and I'll address them. If you're capable of running at 1280 x 1024 please note that below. Also, if capable, switch over to that resolution and give as much of the forums and features a whirl. See if you like it. Of course this will affect your whole environment unless you get some "quick switch" utility.

I'm running at 1024 x 768 right now to see what that's like. I notice right away the main portal page is very wide. If we can't run this place higher than that we need to limit the size of the graphics posted here to 640 pixels wide so you don't have to scroll sideways.

Whatever changes are made here will attempt to please the majority. I need input on what you may have noticed could be improved in a resolution manner. It's not time for other little bugs right now, don't list them, thanks.

If you choose View Results before answering the poll, you're no longer able to vote in that poll. That's how they work here by default. Just a reminder.

Choices:

Less than 800 x 600 -- Hey, Like my Atari?
800 x 600
1024 x 768
1152 x 864
1280 x 768
1280 x 1024
Something other

FWIW I clicked "other" because I run way beyond 1200x1024... 1600x1200, 1680x1050, 1440x900, and even dual-screen setups. But I find 1024x768 to be the bare minimum acceptable screen res today. Plenty of websites are defaulting to this.

The problem with picture posts is new cameras default to photos that way exceed even 1600x1200 unless you crop or resize them, and not everyone knows how to do this.

Mine's 1440x900. I have a Photobucket account and simply adjust to whatever format a page has. My normal picture format is 640x***, height rarely being an issue...

Hey Todd:

Realistically, I think you have to go with the lowest common denominnator; which at this point is probably 1024x768.
