Nice video. How many hours were you able to look around? They have a good variety.

WAT!?...dude...he has a C430, GP20 and F7 in CN!? I can't find a good example of the C430 or F7, and I live in Canada[B)]. You guys have some good hobby shops down there. Thanx for posting that.[:p]

Ken--Glad you enjoyed the video. The owner is very freindly and he holds workshops several knights a week on how to projects which he says draws a good size crowd. The town he is in has a year round population of about 2500. He is getting a lot of tourists now that go to Andrews Geyser which is minutes up the road. On the weekends--the store is very crowded--i got there early before the crowds came.
Dacheez -- I believe all of those CN loco's are mint -- He will ship to you. I thought of you and Romcat when i seen those[:D]
Alcofan--spent over an hour in there as i had to be at a family reunion by noon the day i stopped. It takes 90 minutes from my house to go there and with gas at this time being the highest ever across the country--won't be going every weekend[V]. Small towns sometimes have the best shops. This one being a rarity as it is in the mountains and he has a large reg customer base. There are none close to me like this. He had a lot of items i wanted--short on cash. He does layaway trades and consignments also. I will be going back in may and will take some new video and post[:D]

Hey Brian. I would call him and buy the alco, but with shipping it would prolly be cheaper just to wait for one at a show.

Its the same for me. When I watched that vid it reminded me of a hobby shop (all trains) that I like to go to. It's about an hour away from me. Geez...I live in the capital and there's not a single hobby shop like this.[B)]

that's one good supplied hobby shop! [^]
Nice little movie, too.
I am almost speechless... that's a lot of rolling stock for such a little store...
granted, my wallet would be screaming... but it's suffering from a drought.
Money to move s' the border... does this guy have a website?
Wait... I should just email him, right?
oh, my wallet creaks of voidumb...
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

My wallet was screaming also Zeb. He is working on web site.
UPDATE 4-26-08 -- The fire is still burning up in that area due to our dry conditions. We are suppose to get rain today which will help put it out.
