At the last few train shows I've been too, I've seen Tyco streamliners that looked excellent, except that they were missing their trucks. Has anyone here ever replaced the trucks on a Tyco streamliner and if so, how did you do it?

I never actually bought any of these because I didn't know where to get replacement trucks. At the last train show I went to however, a vendor gave me a truckless B&O observation car for free. When I got it home I found out that it sat perfectly on a pair of Athearn streamliner trucks. The Athearn trucks make it look and run better, but I'm not sure how to attach them to the car. The only way I can think of is piling washers up around the mounting post and then putting a screw in. Any other ideas?

Cheeze--you could get some plastruct tubing and fabricate a piece to fit in the athearn truck and mounting to the tyco body by a small washer and 2-56 screw
