I won a lot on the 'bay and it arrived Saturday. I was suprised to see that the BL2 turned out to be a nonpowered scratchbuilt model sitting on a Hi-Fi chassis. I think it's an older build maybe predating the AHM version. I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into this model. Looks to be painted for Milwaukee Road. Good Spotting GiC! I've added more pictures, on request, they're not great.

Wow. That's really cool! You could almost call it a BL-7, since the long hood wasn't modified much from the Athearn GP-7 (the removable dynamic brake blisters were omitted). The pilots look like vintage Athearn GP-7 as well. But I can see the visible truss in the carbody sides, which is impressive work. I'd love to see more photos. Awesome find!

Hey AF. Cool engine. I like the colours.
This is a Tyco B&O F7 A+B set I picked up a few weeks ago. I really like the blue and gold paint scheme on this pair, and they look great with their matching streamliners.

Due to some camera issues, I am very late in adding photos! Here are a couple shots of my NMN Trainmaster. It's the old Athearn kit. It should have been posted with the other TMs in a privious thread!

To continue my F-M interest, here is what for me was the most sought after loco. It's an old Walthers F-M H12-44 kit. I have tried in vain to pick one of these up on ebay since Jan '04. I just never had the cash available for it. After much penny pinching and saving, I FINALLY got one! Mine cost $60 incl s/h and was MISB. She ain't sealed anymore! Man she runs smooth and quiet. Just like the MR review said!

My LotW is my most recent find--yes, British....CFK has been extremely helpful with histories, identifications, and all things British-rail. Many thanks go to him for his help. This apparently is a BR Standard Class 4, 2-6-4T, used mostly in suburban service--notice how it can run bi-directionally. This has to be Britain's version of a "Mantua!" It's old Hornby, but is solid metal, and weighs about a ton!

Nice locos guys...especially that BL2 in the rare Grateful Dead tour bus scheme...[:D]
My favorites and the loco that pretty much started it all for me...My AHM HO scale "Genoa" 4-4-0 American with its baby sister, a Bachmann N scale "Jupiter"...looking for the O scale version that AHM put out for my grand slam.

I'm just ducky with how the pic came out...

Yeah, I love the die-cast locomotives, and tin litho cars- esp. the coaches w/ windows and interiors. Even my three-rail track has a tin litho roadbed! Very little plastic on those prewar and early postwar Dublo's.

This is a Bachmann 2-8-0 I recently pieced together. The loco has the original pancake motor drive and has a Model Power tender.

[:o] [:o] [:o] Alco Fan, I know you have a sense of humor. My eyes are bleeding and I'm color blind.
DaCheez, love it, I've got my eyes peeled for that particular set. Yes, the colors are awesome. Talk to Alco Fan some more.
Hyponera, I like both, especially the FM by Walthers. I got lucky on eBay and scooped a US Steel version of that engine MIB. It's a small engine and I was surprised by the weight, I didn't think a chunk of lead weighed that much.
Adams, very nice. You're making me want to get foreign trains now and I have to avoid that at all costs.
Shaygetz. Looks great. I've avoided those engines so far because I know once I get one, I'll want them all. I don't think I have all the 430's yet.
Ray. I just picked up a Bachmann and was pleasantly surprised as it ran smooth and Bachmann did some nice piping detail.

| PS AF, I'm going to outdo that engine next week. I force myself to look closer and beyond the colors I see someone did some pretty nice work with the steps and all.
