I have a small box of trains that belonged to my father - he owned a hobby store in the 60's and 70's. The box contains some miscellaneous items and a few cars - Condola Car w/pipe load, Box car 50 ft plug door, Diesel ???, Diesel Powerd - Lighted Santa Fe Passenger (it is a locamotive) and a few others plus some track and signs and poles. I thought about saving them for my grandson but was not sure about what I have.

I would appreciate any information.

Thanks!!!!

It would be difficult to tell without photos, but it sounds like the remains of an old Tyco set. I would definitely save it for sentimental purposes, but would definitely think about something new and dependable for a grandchild to operate.
