After watching a well known hustler of a hobby shop dealer try to swindle another unsuspecting customer I followed the guy outside to see what he had. It was a mint in box Chattanooga set still in the shipping box from the JC Penney warehouse in Columbus, OH. I realize that this set is everywhere but couldn't resist because of the condition. Dealer offered $20. Amazing since right below in his showcase he has same steamer by itself trying to get $59.95 for it. I offered $30 and we settled on $35. Got it home and underneath the space filling inserts I found 2 more locos. Both mint. Athearn PA-1 and an AHM GP-18. Happy to report that all run great after wheel cleaning and lube. A good deal became a great deal!
