I have rebilut a Tyco motor, it is the older style PT with the clips and one screw hole. I used a newer PT motor that had the gear holders broke off for the guts(magnets, springs, brushes, armature). When I put it back together, and put it in my engine, it runs backwards. I have the motor inserted in the engine like my other TYCO's and the wiring is the same as my others. My question is what do ya'll think the probelm is. The only thing I can think of, is the magnets may have to be put in, in a certain order and I have put them in backwards.
Thanks,
Jeremy

The magnets do have to be in the correct orientation.
Take it back apart and put the front magnet in the back and back to front.
It happens.
