Hi All,

Can anyone tell me how the wire from the loco to the tender mounts to the tender?

Thanks for your help.

The wire is screwed onto the bottom of the same post that holds the drawbar to the tender. Just remove that screw, and put the wire on below the drawbar; replace screw. I would also clean up the end of the wire (should have the round connector on the end that the screw goes through). Clean up the bottom of the post on the tender. Also, you can remove the tender trucks, clean the mating surfaces of tender-to-trucks, and even spray some electrical contact cleaner up into the truck axles.

It's usually a matter of someone really looking for one. I've sold a couple of them mint-in-box for $50 each. My guess would be $75 would be about an upper range, although I've found good deals on these for as low as $10. So, I guess I'm not much help on that. I tend to sell things for too little. You might see them go as high as $100.
