Do you have one?
The only thing I know, is the listed prices seem absolutely ridiculous for their day, compared to the rest of the line. As in, approximately 100x the price of a typical Tyco freight car... for what apprears to be little more than a cheap fabricated plastic base with about $50 of product (train set, track, couple buildings) placed on top.
That would be like a Bachmann layout for $1,300.00 today. Yeah... notgonnahappen.
The 1005 layout looks similar to the Life-Like foam one.

Hi GIC, No, I don't have one....yet.... But I was looking for one. I noticed that this board never spoke of any surfacing in the past as far back as I could research. I thought maybe some of you more knowledgeable than me could shed some light on them. I agree with you that for their day, they were very expensive. That alone might make them hard to find. -Bob
