Hello

Maybe just the holiday spirit got 'em, but a mint and reportedly still sealed example of the 1980 Golden Eagle train set sold on eBay this week for around $250! Being sealed it is a nice find, but wow that's some price to pay.

I purchased this set in 1985 from the local hobby shop for a little over $51.00. (paper route money) I still have it all except the original engine; went bad and Tyco shipped me a Santa Fe instead. I wasn't too upset at the time, but I now have 2.
