Does anyone know if I can replace the plastic exrusion/casting of the truck frames that end as the coupler box, on a Tyco GP20 Dummy from a powered version? Be interesting if the dummy front truck is different than the normal powered one!?

There are a few variations in the Power Torque trucks. If you happen to have the same version of the truck, it will interchange powered to dummy.

There are indeed some pretty interesting and subtle differences in PT trucks, and I don't have a handle on them all. Sometimes you can't even swap the sideframe caps... they fit but when you tighten them down, the axles won't turn freely. I've yet to figure out the key to this.

Hey Gic:

So by subtle are you speaking of their attachment characteristics? What about the "visible" part within the same model for example a PT GP20?
