Hi Ken,

I think these are on the Model Power site for right at about the same price. Look in the sales section on the last page.

Hi Ken. Found these Mantua passenger cars on eBay. Check them out. Just the right style to go with your engine.
eBay Auction # 110041723593. Starting bid $9.99. Carl

Ken:
Vin-HO's correct. As I'd stated in another topic response I run a 4-6-0 Mantua DRGW "BumbleBee" these cars were offered with in the mid-80's (as well as a couple of earlier Tyco DRGW 4-8-0s uou own and picture). The Mantua passenger cars are tailor-made for your 4-8-0. The cars and engine were offered by Mantua as separates (the DRGW 4-6-0 msrp'd at $70 US in 1987) and the cars and engine were sold as the "western old time set" together with a Rio Grande "old time" box and DRGW side-door drovers caboose. The set was advertised as "total retail cost $175.00! (Set 8708)
The DRGW steamer remained in circulation 'til 1995 when it was revamped to carry the mc-94 can motor. Personally, I prefer the old open frame Mantua/Tyco steamers, but the DRGW "Bumblebee" with the can motor is a great candidate for operation: super operating characteristics. In any event, the Mantua clerestory passenger cars are the perfect choice.

Ken:
Yes, concur with V-HO. Congrats on getting the appropriate Mantua livery for yer DRG 4-8-0... the Chinese ModelPowers seemed pretty weak-kneed by comparison!
