My bet would be a "shotgun" smoke stack...I wonder if the stacks are interchangeable?

Looks in great shape. I think they included the extra stack and an optional top for the tender with a coal load.

I haven't seen a Cannonball engine with a black pilot before. Or, one with an all-gold numberplate.
I'd like to know how many tenders were red, and how many grey. And, in what order they were made. The choice of grey seems odd, since the prototype was red. Yet, that's the color shown on the set box illustration.
Also, did any Cannonball engines come with red drivers, as shown in the catalog?

I recently found my childhood Hooterville Cannonball loco, the one I repainted when I was a teen. It almost certainly had a grey C&FW tender originally. The set was bought no later than mid-1967.
Please, what is the story about the red tenders on some of these Petticoat Junction engines? I can't find anything pertinent online.

Compared to my Rogers Tyco 4-6-0, your tender load of wood is much greater than the one I have. That's a really big load of cut wood, there.

Now, now, Tyco created all loads equal. Yours is just as big a pile, as anyone else's. [;)]

Nuh-uh! A regular loco pushed the DeLorean up to 88...remember, then the loco itself drove off a cliff?

That would be tough to find. I've seen the 1:64 version on the internet, heck I even had one years ago.
But HO scale, I doubt if they have even produced that size.
You could try an HO scale DeLorean slot car, but I'm not sure how well it would work as a model: http://www.bttf.net/Johnny_Lightning_Back_to_the_Future_slot_car_p/52051-1.htm

Now that would be awesome. People have actually made models of the one that pushed the Delorean, though and they turned out pretty good.

The movie legend is still alive. I guess the Dixie Belle loco Mantua made a number of years back did have a proper prototype after all besides a number of other ones from the time.

I went up to Jamestown, CA a few years back and road the #3 train with my wife and son. If was a great experience. That train is the most used train for movies over the years.

Agreed. Possibly a bit overused, honestly. Seriously, why was that thing in so many movies?
