hi i hope the site does not mind me asking but i have tried every where to find out what the items in photos are,someone guessed they were for signals but that was a guess,please help ken

all i can tell you is it says suitable for ho,4v~20v and made by ter in china/japan as i cannot read that language ken

Looks like it might be a some sort of solenoid or circuit for a track signaling system.
On a DC track system, you get constant negative on one rail, and positve on the other. This gizmo probably needs a special wheelset which triggers the circuit as it passes over the the different points installed/ wired to the positive rail, which then routes the power to the next bulb in the signal. I'm not doing a good job explaining it but that's my best guess.

| thanks guys for input,i have had these for about a year,no good to me,as i run everything by hand as i find it easier for me as i change layout often due to limited space,want to know what they are so i can part with them,ken

| Goinincircles may be right about the signaling thing. You may need some sort of sensor for the end of the wires like a light sensor. Thats what my AR uses.
