Baby Girl Lucio (#2)
December 03, 2007 6:09 am 6.8 lbs 18 inches
You will notice we do not have a name. We got so used to jokingly referring to her with the name Bethany gave her - "Baloney" - that we never whittled the short list...
Name and pictures to be coming. The STC also needs to procure another caboose for a commemorative...
Baby 2 was over a week early... beat that Amtrak...

GENTLEMEN, BEHOLD: we have a name!
"Beverly Maye"

Mom, Baby, and Big Sister are doing fine. I could use more sleep (as could Anna I suppose but she has that motherhood adrenaline going for now). [^]

Congratulations. She's beautiful. I kind of liked "Baloney" though.
Get some sleep.

You know, I actually did consider the name "Baloney", albeit with a different spelling and pronunciation. But (un)fortunately (?) common sense prevailed. [:P]
If we were doing names that start with "A", Aurora honestly would have been on my short list. I have always loved that name. It sounds beautiful, has mystical connotations... and is also the name of my favorite Disney Princess (Sleeping Beauty - I love the character stylings and hard-line / soft-shade animation style).
Bethany (who herself turned 3 only one week ago) doesn't seem to mind though...

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Hate to spam the board with sap, but sometimes a little off-topic joy is worthwhile.

Congratulations and best wishes to both of you…
For those members that might have missed it, the mother of these beautiful children is a member of this forum also… mix3d3m0ti0n5 is probably the neatest wife a train freak could have… For her honeymoon Circlez took her to the B&O Rail museum…
As to the notion that this might be an off topic wasting space, please be advised that these type of posts create a "family atmosphere" and are the number one reason this forum has been so successful!

and, hey... A week or two is early. My first girl was about two Months early... born at 3lb 6oz. But, man, I tell you, did I ever get the compliments from women who saw how beautiful she was. Well, She will be turning a healthy 5 years this coming April.

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?
