Take a look at the box in this ebay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250192909514&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fsearch.ebay.com%3A80%2Fsearch%2Fsearch.dll%3Ffrom%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm37%26satitle%3D250192909514%2B%26category0%3D%26fvi%3D1

Notice the printed bug next to the Tyco logo. The seller says this is "Kenbrite", which yeah, once you know what it says, you can read it.

Also note the Kenbrite-branded power pack, with Australian plug.

Does anyone know what this co-branding relationship was? I always thought it odd that Tyco did make some Australian-specific items, but presumably for a short time. Was Kenbrite an Australian toy co. that imported Tyco sets for a time?

---edit--- Just noticed that the track layout dimensions are printed on the box as "3.33 M"... kinda neat, and clearly Australia-specific.

The power pack looks like a rebadged Life-Like unit.

I've never heard of Kenbrite, but perhaps they were a Mattel-ish company? Did find some minor info on Kenbrite that stated they sold toys and games, including G.I. Joe items and TYCO trainsets.

Here's a Kenbrite labeled Playmobil item...
