Ah, the classic Rivarossi -> AHM -> Tempo FM C-Liner. The goofy pilot dates back to the Riv kit's initial days and is one of that model's more infamous trademarks. The real ones did not have the porch bumper.

Hey GIC:
You know we operate in an odd paradox. Most of us have an engineering bent of one sort or another and as such we probably value the adage "form follows function" and yet we all are attracted to unrealistic representations of actual things or even fantasies of them.
Why run a Tyco Super 630 So76 alongside an Atlas C-420, who knows. Whats appealing about those Mantua Industrial Switchers...or those bizzare and desirable Tyco GG-1 on Vampire "C-C" trucks!? Who knows! Most of us wanted a Batmobile at one time.
Hey we'll all be dead soon enough, helping the soil convert nitrogen into usable compounds I say we go out on fire, used up and with nothing left! [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D] [:D]
