Came across no. 462 2-way coaling station in working condition with instruction manual.Very cool. Noticed on back of manual no.460 House afire.Really cool! Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Renwal Products Inc. Mineola, NY

Renwal DID make some pretty cool stuff. I never knew of their existance until looking at the wishbook.com site and saw a coal unloading station that look intresting but had never seen before and displayed tyco cars with it. After doing some checking around I found out these kits sell at a reasonable price but are not very common. This must be the kit you are questioning.

Sorry shaygetz. Let me give you something else to chew on. The same elderly man also called me to let me know that he also has the other two items shown on the back of the instruction manual. Although he only has the base for the House Afire with the guts he does have the gantry crane that supposedly has a working magnet to pick up and release. These promise to be projects for the winter. Hopefully by spring I can recondition them.
Thanks for the pictures and yes Tyco figures prominently in the instruction manual. They recommend the use of Tyco coal for smooth operation. We'll see.

I had problums with the car loader . You need a coal with no sharp edges.
