Show and tell time boy's and girls:

Just Got this Rivarossi Alco U-4A 0-8-0 Swithcher which though this is in PRR paint only existed in reality on the Indian Harbor Belt Line. It was built in 1927 (the prototype that is!)

I picked it up under the "Boyhood" Category of my collecting. It came out in model form in 1972 and was the only Steamer I ever wanted until recently. Anyway along with my ONLY left from childhood Roundhouse Box Cab Alco/GE 60 Tonner Diesel, and a recently purchased MIB Atlas/Roco EMD SD24 in UP paint these three comprise my "Boyhood" collection. I will likely add an Athearn Alco PA-1 in D&H paint and a mint Tyco SF Switcher.

Any pics:

OK guys, let fly!

This is my second Rivarossi 0-8-0.
The first one I got when I was 12 and I ran it to pieces.
I have another I am trying to piece back together.

I have a unbuilt kit and the motorized version.

I have a partial unpowered kit in O scale too. I am missing the boiler top and the frame had been hacked on.
Hope to find those parts and a motorizing kit someday.

Nice beast there, Taycotrains. Mine is your standard AHM/Rivarossi that I got for the price of shipping. It needs a new pilot and the rods are missing from the first and second drivers. I wondered why for a long time 'til it derailed regularly at one turnout. The front driver has a slight weeble to it, I figure the original owner saw that it really wasn't noticeable and so removed the offending rods. It runs great other wise.
